Hosted in the Soo Visual Arts Center in downtown Minneapolis, this curated marketplace features artistic works from more than 50 local artists. In addition to paintings, sketches, sculptures, and prints, you'll also find one-of-a-kind clothing, jewelry, and pottery items. If you're hoping to brighten up your friends and family's walls this year, the Highpoint Center for Printmaking's Prints on Ice exhibition event is the place to go. There are 72 different prints up for sale this year, each recreated from an original design by members of Highpoint's artist co-op. You'll find gorgeous works of art for sale in a variety of different mediums, including screenprints, lithographs, and relief prints. The exhibition will be open during normal gallery hours from December 9 to January 7. Raging Art On (or RAO) is a yearly art market run by Gamut Gallery. Many of the works for sale are by artists that gallery regulars already know and love. This year also features products from 19 new artists listing their works for the first time. From prints and original works of art to home goods, jewelry, and apparel, there's something available at every price point to make your holiday shopping easier. RAO is open Monday to Thursday every week until early January. The Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association is bringing back its Holiday Saturdays event at the Northrup King Building near our Minneapolis homes for sale. This month-long event gathers illustrations, glass works, furniture, and other great gift items from local artists all in one place for your shopping convenience. The marketplace is open every Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. through December 23, so come in from the cold and see what great finds are in stock! - Northern Clay Center - 2424 Franklin Ave. E, Minneapolis, MN 55406
Want something more tactile than a print? The Northern Clay Center is hosting its yearly Winter Exhibition sale right now. This year, they have over a thousand clay sculptures, dishes, vases, and other beautiful handmade pieces ready for gifting. You can even pick up rare historic pieces through the ReCollect secondary art market. The center will welcome shoppers seven days a week for the entire month of December.
