As you prepare to buy a home, many questions will come to mind. Regardless of how simple they may seem, be sure to write them down so you can review them one-on-one with your REALTOR®.
Along with your list of questions about the home buying process, the housing market, etc, also create a list of reasons why you’re buying. The more you can share with your agent about who you are and what matters most to you, the more tailored the guidance they give you will be. A few questions you should think about:
- Why am I looking to buy?
- Is this my first time buying?
- Where do I want to live?
- Am I familiar with the area, or would I like my real estate agent to share extra information about parks, activities, shopping, and other amenities nearby to familiarize myself with my prospective new community?
- What does my ideal home look like? What kind of features does it include?
