Twin Cities Coffee Shops for a Latte - Counselor Realty

If you love a good latte, you can find this espresso and steamed milk delight all over the Twin Cities near incredible Minneapolis and Saint Paul homes for sale. We've scoured the Twin Cities for our favorites, and these are some of the most enjoyable coffee shops we've discovered over the years.

  • Five Watt Coffee — 3745 Nicollet Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55409
Founded in 2014, Five Watt Coffee was one of the first adopters of the "coffee as cocktails" trend in the Twin Cities. They have several amazing offerings that will keep you coming back for more. One such favorite is the Busy Beaver, which is made with maple syrup, blackstrap bitters, cinnamon molasses, and black pepper. If you want something a little simpler, try the Chaider, comprised of apple, chai, and vanilla.

  • Workhorse Coffee Bar — 2399 University Ave. W, St. Paul, MN 55114
If you're looking for a trendy yet unique mix, Workhorse Coffee Bar is a must-stop. If you become a resident of either Minneapolis or St. Paul, you may run into someone wearing one of their branded hoodies or t-shirts. Their coffee, lattes, and food items are all very tasty. And while you're there, check out The Smallest Museum, located just outside the front door. It's adorable.

  • Wildflyer Coffee — 3262 Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55406
Wildflyer Coffee has become a Minneapolis mainstay by offering a different kind of coffee shop. They've organized themselves as a non-profit to provide employment opportunities to young men and women with housing insecurity. Their four-month program provides necessary career skills that go far past barista training. And while they're building a future for challenged youths, they're making fantastic coffee, lattes, and espressos.

  • Quixotic Coffee — 769 Cleveland Ave. S, St. Paul, MN 55116
Quixotic Coffee uses local ingredients, but as they'll certainly tell you, it's their local character that really helps them stand out. If you decide to become a resident of the Twin Cities, this might quickly become your favorite hotspot. Be sure to try one of their tasty nitro cold brews in addition to the lattes.

  • Milkweed — 3822 E. Lake St., Minneapolis, MN 55406
Whether you're in the mood for one of their hazelnut-milk lattes, taste-defying espressos, or classic cappuccinos, Milkweed has just the thing. They've become a Minneapolis favorite not just because of their beverages but because they support local talent. Featuring such events as puppet shows, readings, book signings, and more, there's always something brewing (pardon the pun) at this delightful coffee shop.

  • Cafe Astoria — 180 Grand Ave., St. Paul, MN 55102
Buckle up, beverage fans! Cafe Astoria may be the last Twin Cities coffee shop on our list, but we're going out with a bang. Or, maybe we should say we're going out with a Bee Sting, a fan-favorite beverage made with wildflower honey and bee pollen. While you're there getting your latte on, check out their many other delights, especially the addictive crepe cakes made with chocolate, Nutella, berries, and more.
